About Studio Trudeau

Curiosity is part of the job.

We believe the best solution is rarely the one someone orders on day one. It's the one you arrive at when you understand the people, the problem, and the possibilities.

Studio Trudeau combines learning strategy, design, technology, and a practical understanding of how organizations work. We help clients make sense of complex challenges and create experiences, products, and systems that fit their goals.

The studio is led by Eric Trudeau, whose background spans business operations, instructional and learning experience design, creative leadership, education technology, and hands-on product development. A trusted network of collaborators brings additional perspectives and production skills when a project needs them.

We enjoy building, but we don't assume building is always the answer. Sometimes it's a new experience or platform. Sometimes it's a clearer strategy, a redesigned process, or a much simpler way of doing something you already do.

Serious work, curious minds.

Good work should feel considered, collaborative, and useful. We like asking thoughtful questions, testing ideas, and finding the elegant answer, even when the challenge is complicated.

Eric Trudeau, as a memoji

Hello, I'm Eric

Part strategist. Part designer. Always curious.

Before Studio Trudeau, I spent years designing learning, leading creative teams, and running the operational side of education businesses. The work taught me to look past the assignment: what does the learner need, what does the organization need, and where are we making either one's life harder than it should be?

Our philosophy

Not as easy as possible. Just hard enough to feel like yours.

Our whole philosophy fits in a story about a cake mix and an egg. It takes a minute, and it explains how we build everything.

Have a project? Let's talk.

First, a story about cake.Tap the egg to begin.

1 · The mix

The story goes: in the 1950s, Betty Crocker sold a cake mix where all you had to do was add water.

The powdered egg and milk were already in the box. One bowl, three minutes, a perfect cake every time. It flopped.

2 · The problem

Nobody wanted a cake they hadn't made.

Serving it felt like cheating. The cake was fine; the feeling wasn't. So the company changed one thing: they took the powdered egg out of the box and asked you to crack a fresh one in yourself.

3 · The egg

One small step of your own, and the same mix took off.

The recipe got harder, not easier, and that was the whole idea. Betty Crocker's own records tell it a little differently, but the point still stands: people don't want the cake made for them. They want a hand in making it, because the part they did is the part that makes it theirs.

4 · How we build

We build learning, apps, and software the same way. Not as easy as possible. Just hard enough to feel like yours.

A lesson that asks you to do something before anything is handed to you. A platform that leaves the real decisions with you. AI that coaches you instead of answering for you. The right amount of participation turns an idea into something a person can actually use.

5 · That's why the egg

We'll do the hard parts. We won't do the step that makes it yours.

If you've got a learning problem, a platform problem, or a problem you can't name yet, we'd like to hear it.
